Our Casa Xamu Espadín Artisanal Mezcal is made from Espadín agaves grown for 7 to 8 years, Casa Xamu's Espadín agave is a native Oaxacan variety that is planted with dedication and care on our lands. Espadín is known for its balanced flavor with mineral notes and its primary fruity aroma, which makes it perfect to enjoy alone or in cocktails.

Our Casa Xamu Espadín Artisanal Mezcal is a young mezcal, which means that it is bottled after a short period of rest. This allows mezcal to retain
its fresh and vibrant flavor, with aromatic notes of spices and a smooth and subtle mineral aftertaste, derived from the 7 to 8 years it took for the agave
plant to be ready to be tasted by you.

master mezcaleros work with dedication and passion to create high-quality

The production process of Casa Xamu mezcal dates back centuries, with
techniques inherited from our parents and grandparents. We are proudly the
fourth generation of Master Mezcaleros.

At Casa Xamu, our master mezcalero, Ignacio Gutierrez Santiago, is a recognized expert
in mezcal production with years of experience and dedication. Together with Him, we verify and certify all the processes and knowledge
bequeathed by four generations of Master Mezcaleros; with the aim of sharing
our culture, tradition and family history to the world through our Ancestral
and Artisanal mezcals.

As a team we work every day with passion and care to create mezcals that
are authentic and of the highest quality.
